Welcome to Piccola Italia, a family-owned and operated Italian restaurant that has been serving authentic and delicious dishes for over 34 years.

Piccola Italia was founded by the late Augusto Secchi and his wife Ilse, who bought Gala Delicatessen from the Baschetti’s, the original owners of Gala Import.

In 2007, they partnered with Marietjie and Eric Gevers to open Piccola Italia in Monument Park Shopping Centre.

At Piccola Italia, we use only the finest and freshest ingredients from Italy and South Africa to create our Pizzas, Pastas, Speciality Dishes and Desserts.

Our pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven for a crispy and flavorful crust and our pastas are made with imported cheeses, fresh tomatoes and high quality extra virgin olive oil. Our speciality dishes are based on traditional and authentic Italian recipes that have been passed down for generations. And our desserts are the perfect way to end your meal with a sweet and satisfying treat.
